Every year the Almaden Valley Women’s Club presents its signature fundraising event – the Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival. All proceeds of the festival are donated to non-profit organizations and schools in our community and also support merit-based scholarships to deserving students. Set inside beautiful Almaden Lake Park, the Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival has been an Almaden Valley tradition since 1976. The festival takes place on the third Sunday of each September.

Voted one of the best festivals in San Jose, the Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival has something for everyone. Our festival features a large selection of local artisans, entertainment by popular bands throughout the day on our main stage, boutique wines from Northern California vineyards, a variety of food offerings to taste including gourmet food trucks, a Kids-Zone with crafts, carnival games, and rides, souvenir wine and beer glasses, a silent auction, and much more. 40th Annual Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival

 Sunday, September 11, 2016  • 10AM - 6PM • Almaden Lake Park

Almaden Lake Park is located at the corner of Almaden Expressway and Coleman Avenue in San Jose. The parking lot at the front of the park is reserved for those with parking passes. 

Free Parking and our courtesy shuttle are available at Santa Clara Valley Water District on Almaden Expressway and Almaden Light Rail Station on Winfield Blvd.

Festival attendees are encouraged to use public transit and ride bicycles – please check your local VTA schedule and look for our designated bicycle parking area. Pets are not allowed at the festival - please leave your pets at home.

WINERIES & BREWERIES
Our Wine and Beer booths proudly serve wines from local vineyards and premium beers. Wine and beer is served in our commemorative souvenir glasses featuring logo artwork created by one of our own Almaden Valley Student. Wine and Beer is only served in souvenir glasses available for purchase at all festival Ticket Books.

FOOD
We are pleased to present a variety of food offerings including gourmet food trucks. This year’s festival features food from our local Corporate Sponsor - Britannia Arms along with tasty treats Sweet Delights, Tacos al Pastor, Crepe 'Em Coming Food Truck, Bay Bridge Coffee, Oak & Rye Pizza, Posh Bagel, Dippin’ Dots and many more.

SILENT AUCTION
Art & Wine Festival Silent Auction Offers Famous Artists, Vacation Getaways and More!

What do Salvador Dali, Stephen Curry and a beautiful vacation home in Lake Tahoe have in common? All will be up for auction at the Festival Silent Auction Tent. This year’s Silent Auction promises to be unlike any other auction you’ve ever experienced.

Featured items will include:

· Exquisite, limited edition artwork (Dali, Picasso, Chagall and many lesser known, but equally original artists)
· Signed sports and entertainment collectibles
· Fabulous designer jewelry
· Unique home décor items and much, much more!

In addition we have Kayaking at Moss Landing, dinners at local restaurants and tickets to local attractions.

Don’t miss the Silent Auction tent located near the main entertainment stage!!

Student Volunteers are needed in many different volunteer activities such as assisting in the booths, setting up and tearing down, replenishing supplies and helping with projects. This is a fun way to meet your community service hour requirements.

We require that each student commit to working at least one 4 hour shift. You must be at least 14 years old to participate.

Come enjoy an exciting day of family friendly activities and entertainment brought to you by the Almaden Valley Women’s Club. Located at the north end of the park, you will find entertainment for teens and children including family friendly performances throughout the day, a rock climbing wall, interactive inflatable, face painting, carnival games, crafts and jump houses for the little ones.
